| Development of Crematoriums |
Crematoriums with modern facilities would be built in urban local bodies of the State. It is planned to develop these crematoriums as emotional places. These crematoriums would be made gas-based and electric-based, as much as possible.
A model crematorium would be developed at Gandhinagar so that it can be followed by other cities in the State. |

| Conservation of Heritage |
For heritage conservation in the cities, Gujarat urban Heritage Institute would be constituted to develop ancient and historical monuments in the cities and attract tourist traffic through education, so that the monuments could be maintained properly. For ensuring proper maintenance, training would be imparted to architects, engineers and masons. This institute would undertake the following: |
