Declaration by the State Government
To deal with the mammoth challenge of providing comprehensive facilities to the residents of the cities in view of increasing pace of urbanization, and create beautiful, clean, development -oriented and thriving cities, the State Government has decided to observer and celebrate the year 2005 as Urban Development Year.
